Amritsar: Crime cases are increasing continuously in Punjab these days. Another shocking case of crime has come to light from Mohali in the state. A student of a private university in the Mohali district of the state tried to commit suicide after making an MMS video, after which she has been admitted to the hospital in a critical condition.  

At the same time, after coming to know about this incident, the students created a ruckus on the university campus. At the same time, the police have taken the accused student who made the video of the victim student into custody. However, the police have termed it as just a social media rumour and have registered a case against it under the IT Act. It is also being told in some reports that a student had made a video of the victim student bathing, due to which the victim student was very scared and he tried to commit suicide.  

Giving information, the student welfare officer of the university has said that no student has tried to commit suicide. Only one girl student fainted who is admitted to the hospital and her condition is stable. Apart from this, the accused student who has made MMS has been taken into police custody. The cybercrime branch has been informed about the matter.
