Amritsar: Punjab's ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Labh Singh Ugoke's father has consumed poison. Labh Singh Ugoke is an Aam Aadmi Party MLA from the Bhador assembly constituency in the Barnala district. According to the information received, Ugoke's father had consumed poisonous medicine. His condition is critical at the moment. He has been admitted to Ludhiana after his condition deteriorated.

Bhadaur assembly seat in Barnala district was a hot seat in the Punjab elections held in March this year. Because from here, the then Punjab CM Charanjit Singh Channi was in the electoral fray. In this election, Labh Singh Ugoke defeated Channi. Aam Aadmi Party's (AAP) young face Labh Singh Ugoke had defeated Channi by a huge margin. Aam Aadmi Party candidate Labh Singh Ugoke defeated Charanjit Singh Channi by 37,500 votes.

Labh Singh Ugoke comes from a very normal family. He used to work at a mobile repair shop till he won the election. In the Punjab Assembly elections held in March, AAP's Labh Singh Ugoke got 63,967 votes and Charanjit Singh Channi got 26,409 votes.
