Punjab and Karnataka have won the quarterfinals of the 11th Hockey India Men's National Championship on Saturday. Punjab beat Chandigarh 2-1 in the first quarter-final to advance to the semi-finals.

According to reports, captain Rupinder Pal Singh scored in the 46th and 53rd minutes while Arshdeep Singh scored the only goal for Chandigarh in the 50th minute. Karnataka beat Bengal 3-2 in the second quarter-final.

Let us tell you that Aslam Lakda has scored in the ninth minute for Bengal. In the second quarter, Skipper Mohammad Raheel scored in the 21st minute and Harish Mutagar scored in the 30th minute. Abhishek Pratap Singh has scored a draw in the 40th minute for Bengal. Karnataka S Dixit P scored a winning goal at a penalty corner in the 58th minute to give the team a place in the semi-finals.
