The counting of votes for the 117-member Punjab Assembly elections has begun at 8 am. This time, a total of 1,304 candidates, including 93 women and two transgenders, are in the fray in the Punjab Assembly elections. So far, the trends of 5 seats in Punjab have come, on two, the Congress is ahead on two, the Aam Aadmi Party is ahead on two and the Akali Dal on one. With this, in the initial trends, the AAP party has taken a lead over Congress in Punjab, AAP is leading in three seats.
