The Punjab School Examination Board, ie PSEB, postponed the examinations in view of increasing cases of coronavirus infection. Revised dates of Dy Class 5, Matriculation and Senior Secondary examinations have been released. The dates of the examinations between March 20 and March 31 have been updated. The notification of the revised date has been released on the official website of the Punjab School Education Board. Board exams can now start in the state from April 1, 2020.

SSC examinations postpone due to Corona in Telangana

Now exams are scheduled for class 5th from April 1 to April 3, 2020. The examination for class 10th will begin on April 3 and may end on April 23. The examination for class 12th can start from April 3 and will end on April 18, 2020. Usually, board exams are conducted only for students of class 10th and 12th. Punjab Board also conducts centralized examinations for the students of 5th and 8th grade. Punjab Board has advised students and their parents to check the official website only from time to time. Earlier, CBSE on Wednesday and ICSE on Thursday postponed their class 10th, 12th board examinations till March 31, as the Indian government postponed all examinations to prevent the effects of coronavirus in the country. NTA has also postponed its JEE Main April exam 2020. The revised schedule has not been announced yet. NIOS examinations have also been postponed.
