The Punjab government has changed the time of relaxation in the curfew after the demand of the people of the state. From Sunday, shops in the Green and Orange zones will now open from 9 am to 1 pm in all districts. Whereas no rebate will be given in the red and containment zones. Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh announced this on Saturday.

For your information, let us tell you that in the cabinet meeting held through video conferencing, it was also decided that now the test report of external states will not be accepted. It was told that so far 292 Punjabi Corona positives returned from Nanded have been found. The official spokesman said that the matter was also considered in the cabinet meeting and it was agreed that the relaxation time should be changed keeping the interests of the people in mind.

Amidst the outbreak of the virus, the Chief Minister announced to change the time of opening of shops from 9 am to 1 pm from 7 am to 11 am in view of the convenience of the people. The Captain told the Chief Secretary that the Deputy Commissioners should be issued necessary guidelines to make changes in time. The same, Captain Amarinder Singh made it clear that if any person comes out of his house without wearing a mask, the police should strictly challan them. He said that due to the implementation of Section 144 in the state, no relaxation will be allowed in this regard.
