New Delhi: The agitation of farmers in several states including Punjab, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh, which has been on the borders of Delhi for more than 2 months against the three agricultural laws brought by the Central Government, is now intensifying. Furthering the movement, farmer organizations have announced that on the coming February 6, agitating farmers will block roads across the country for three hours.

Meanwhile, Punjab CM and Congress leader Capt Amarinder Singh have also called for an all-party meeting on Tuesday, today in Punjab Bhawan, Chandigarh, on the issue of farmers. Earlier, CM Amarinder Singh tweeted on Monday that, 'Punjab Government has formed a team of 70 lawyers to fight the farmers against whom the Delhi Police has filed cases after the incident on Republic Day.'

Amarinder wrote in his tweet that 'I will personally take up the issue of missing farmers after that incident with the Union Home Ministry and ensure that these people reach their homes safely. You can call 112 for any kind of help.' Amarinder Singh said that in this time of crisis on farmers, all parties should come together.
