Punjab CM Capt Amarinder Singh has directed the police to take strict action against those responsible for waving offensive flag in the district administrative complex of Moga. The youth have also been appealed not to be misled by the false propaganda of anti-India elements such as terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannu and his Sikh for Justice (SFJ).
CM challenged Pannu and said, "You will come to Punjab and see, I will teach you a lesson". Captain directed DGP Dinkar Gupta that the two mischievous elements identified in the Moga incident would be detained as soon as possible. The police has announced a reward of Rs 50,000 for both, whose CCTV footage has also been released.
Challenging Pannu, the Chief Minister said, "Why do the people of Punjab do this, if you people are juried, come here and show it." If the SFJ leader wants, he can make Khalistan at the place where he hides. While congratulating the people of Punjab on the eve of Independence Day, the Captain said that the whole world accepts the unmatched sacrifice and bravery of Punjab and Sikhs. Tales of bravery of Punjabis can be found everywhere, he said, adding that the 'Kalapani' of the Andaman island fills the testimony of his examples and that the massacre of Jallianwala Bagh is also a living example of Punjabi sacrifices.
