Amritsar: Punjab Pradesh Congress (PPC) may show the way out to Praneet Kaur, wife of former Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh and Congress MP from Patiala Lok Sabha seat. After this information provided by sources, there is now a lot of speculation. Congress MP Praneet Kaur did not even attend an important meeting convened by Congress working president Sonia Gandhi at 10 Janpath on Thursday.

Praneet Kaur was absent from the meeting where all Congress MPs from Punjab had arrived. Pratap Singh Bajwa, Amar Singh, Manish Tewari, Santokh Chaudhary, Gurjit Singh Aujala and Ravneet Singh Bittu were present at the meeting held at Sonia Gandhi's residence. According to sources, the meeting lasted about an hour. Earlier, the Congress party had issued a notice to him seeking clarification on allegations of his alleged "anti-party activities."

Let's say there are only a few months left for the Punjab Assembly elections to be held. According to sources, Patiala MP Praneet Kaur has decided to skip all-important meetings with the party high command. On the other hand, Congress has stepped up preparations for the assembly elections.
