Amritsar: Shiromani Akali Dal (Shi'ad) has a strong alliance with bahujan samaj party (BSP). Shi'ad will no longer go with former ally Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). This answer was given by Shi'ite chief Sukhbir Singh Badal at an event. He has said that Arvind Kejriwal is also making false promises to the people in Delhi. The promises they make for others should first implement those promises in Delhi.

Shiromani Akali Dal (Shi'ite) chief Sukhbir Singh Badal on Tuesday said he has a strong alliance with bsp and will not ally with former ally BJP. He said that the future of Shi'ad is with bsp, he said this while talking to the press men in Chhabbewal, about 36 km from here. According to the report, in response to a question, Sukhbir Singh Badal said, "We have a strong alliance with the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP).

He further said that Shi'ad will not ally with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). The old alliance between the BJP and the Shi'ad broke down last year when the Shiromani Akali Dal split from the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) over agricultural laws. Now that the agricultural laws have been returned, there were speculations that the Shi'ad might go with the BJP in the Punjab elections, but the change has put an end to all speculation.
