Chandigarh: Thousands of farmers blocked the railway lines on Tuesday morning, accusing the Amarinder government of Punjab of reversing promises. Fearing dust in the eyes of the district administration, farmers sat on railway tracks in Amritsar, Tarn Taran, Gurdaspur, and Ferozepur. While the police have started a crackdown on the farmers, the farmers have announced to intensify their agitation.
