Chandigarh: The Bhagwant Mann government of Punjab has given a big gift to the government employees of the state. The government has decided to regularize such employees who have completed 10 years of service. It is said that there are more than 35 thousand such employees, who will come under the category of regular employees after the decision of the government. In the initial phase, 28 thousand employees will be regularised.

This decision of Punjab Government will benefit 10000 employees of Education Department and 7800 employees of Health Department. The Punjab government has also prepared its list. This list will also be released soon. After the jobs of 28 thousand employees are confirmed, there is a plan to confirm the remaining 8000 employees in the next phase. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government had formed a committee for this. The duration of the job of the employees, which employees can be regularised, what will be the problems in regularizing the employees. The committee was asked to find answers to many such questions. Now Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will hold a meeting on the report of the committee, and after that the final decision will be taken.

However, on the other hand, questions are also being raised on the duration of the job to ensure the job. Sukhchain Singh Khaira, head of the Punjab Secretariat Employees Union, says why only those who have served for 10 years are being confirmed. This time frame should be at least 5-7 years. Those employees should also be confirmed, who have completed 5-7 years of service. After the government does this, work will be done in a better way in the government departments.
