Amarinder: The rising corona cases in Punjab, the government has announced the closure of schools till March 31. The decision was taken at Chief Minister Amarinder's review meeting on the condition of the corona. The movement of people in theatres and shopping malls has also been limited. The number of viewers in cinema halls will be 50 percent and more than 100 people will not be given entry at the same time in shopping malls.

At the same time, an hour of silence will be kept in remembrance of those who lost their lives due to covid every Saturday from next week at 11 am. Vehicular traffic on the roads will be stopped. The situation is becoming formidable due to corona in the state. In Punjab, 32 patients died on Thursday due to corona, while 2387 new cases have been registered in the last 24 hours. The total death toll due to the epidemic in the state has gone up to 6204. According to health department data, 14366 patients of corona are currently undergoing treatment in the state. Of these, 274 patients are on oxygen and 21 on ventilators.

The corona report of Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) chief Sukhbir Singh Badal is undergoing treatment at Medanta Hospital after being positive. After this, the corona has been found in the caretaker of former Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal, including a cook at Badal Niwas and his son.
