The Punjab Police has described the life of Aam Aadmi Party's national convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal as a threat from Khalistani terrorists. On the other hand, the Home Ministry has not yet issued any official statement on the matter. An official said, "The Delhi Police has enough personnel to protect the Chief Minister of Delhi. The threat assessment for every VIP person is done regularly. If needed, we will increase the security. Apart from this, another Punjab Police official said, "A letter was written to the Delhi Police regarding the threat received by Kejriwal. The official, however, did not say when the letter was written.
