Punjab Police has taken out vacancies in the posts of Sub Inspectors. State CM Captain Amarinder Singh recently tweeted about the same. He said vacancies have been taken out in 560 posts of Sub Inspectors. The application for Punjab police sub-inspector posts will start from July 5. State that these recruitments are going to be made for four cadres (Armed, District, Intelligence, and Investigation Cadre). The exams will be held in the month of August. 2 MCQ-based CB papers will be held in August.

Educational Qualification:-
The candidate for Sub Inspector (District Police Cadre), Sub Inspector (Armed Police Cadre) Sub Inspector (Investigation Cadre) should be a graduate from a recognized University.
Graduate from a recognized university or institution for an intelligence officer, as the case may be, provided such candidates also have a '0' level certificate of information technology from the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) (formerly called DOEACC), besides computer science from a recognized university or institution, or should have a bachelor's degree in computer application. Degree in Computer Engineering in B.Sc., B.Tech. BE should be a degree as computer networking subject.
In addition, computer applications should be BCA, Software Engineering, BCA, and Post Graduate Diploma.
