Chandigarh: A number of cases have been reported in the country for some time now and an FIR was lodged against 23 party members including Aam Aadmi Party Lok Sabha MP Bhagwant Mann and MLA Harpal Singh Cheema along with 200 unidentified persons protesting near CM Captain Amarinder Singh's house in Mohali, Punjab on Saturday. This was reported by the Mohali SSP. The Aam Aadmi Party on Saturday staged a massive demonstration at cm Captain Amarinder Singh's farmhouse in Siswan.

The protesters broke the security barricade smashed by the police. As a result, Aam Aadmi Party's Punjab State President and MP Bhagwant Mann returned after his health deteriorated. According to police officials, security at the Chief Minister's residence has been beefed up since the demonstration. On the other hand, MP Bhagwant Mann said that while the people of the state are staging dharna, a person is sitting at his house and having fun.

He said that we have come to check the electricity meter of the chief minister's farmhouse to show how many hours of power cuts are taking place here. Bhagwant Mann blamed that the anti-Punjab power deal in force in the Akali Dal and BJP governments and mafia raj were also rampant during the captain's rule. MP Bhagwant Mann said that as a minister in the power department, the Chief Minister will have to take responsibility for the current power crisis. On the other hand, Akali Dal President Sukhbir Badal's performance on the power crisis was termed as a gimmick by Bhagwant Mann.
