Chandigarh: A strange petition came before Panjab and Haryana court seeking legal action against Prince Harry of Britain's royal family. The petitioner maintained that Prince Harry had promised to marry him which he did not keep. The petitioner had also sought the issuance of an arrest warrant against Prince Harry.

However, while hearing the matter, the Punjab-Haryana court said that the petitioner is looking open lying around. Surprisingly, the petitioner is a lawyer who herself approached the court to fight his case. The court had approved the direct hearing of the court on the special application. The petitioner had sought the issuance of an arrest warrant against Duke of Sussex Prince Harry in the petition so that the marriage is not delayed further. According to the media, the petitioner also showed some emails to the court, which according to her, were sent to her by Prince Harry and also promised to marry.

However, when the court asked if the petitioner had ever gone to the UK, the reply was not received. The petitioner said she had spoken to Prince Harry only through social media. Dismissing the petition, Justice Arvind Singh Sangwan said, "It is not a hidden fact that fake IDs are created on social media sites like Facebook, Twitter. It is possible that Prince Harry is sitting in a village in Punjab and looking for something better for himself.''
