New Delhi: Famous Punjabi film actor Deep Sidhu died on Tuesday in a road accident. His car met with an accident at Kundli border near Delhi, in which he died. Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) leader Rakesh Tikait has expressed grief over the death of Deep Sidhu. Talking with the media, Rakesh Tikait said that, this is a sad incident.

Tikait further said that Deep Sidhu's name has also been associated with the farmers' movement and the Red Fort incident. Today he is not in this world, it is a sad incident for his family. Speaking on the Red Fort and Deep Sidhu, Rakesh Tikait said that Sidhu was taken by the government. We have said many times that there was no tampering with the flag at Red Fort. The religious flag was hoisted on an empty pipe, which was a conspiracy of the government.

With this an attempt was made to defame the peasant movement. Rakesh Tikait further said that, 'Deep Sidhu got trapped in the Chakravyuh of the government, he did all this only to defame the farmers' movement. We had nothing to do with Red Fort, if we had to go to protest, we would have gone to Parliament.
