Punjabi model and actress Himanshi Khurana had informed her fans on Instagram on September 27 that she had conducted a test of corona virus after which reports revealed that she is corona positive. She participated in farmers' protest against the farm bills on September 25. After returning, she decided to conduct the test. The contestant of Big Boss 13 was in the house since her test. She was also following the instructions given to her by the doctor, but has now been admitted to the hospital. According to reports, she needed medical treatment due to high fever and trouble breathing. Earlier she was in a hospital in Ludhiana but now she has been shifted to Chandigarh.
In her Instagram post talking about Covid-19 a few days ago, Himanshi had asked protesters to take the virus seriously and to take appropriate precautions. "I would like to inform all of you that even after taking due care, I have been infected with COVID-19. I was a part of the first day protest and there was congestion in that area. So, I thought everyone should get tested. And I did it because I had to go on a shoot".
She further wrote, "I just wanted to inform the people who came in contact with me, to get the test done dand please take appropriate precautions during the protest. My request to all those protesting that we do not forget that we are dealing with a pandemic, so please take it seriously.
