Amritsar: PanJab's politics may soon face a major political reversal and many big faces may be seen on the new political platform. Former Punjab CM and Punjab Lok Congress President Captain Amarinder Singh will leave for Delhi on Friday. Captain Amarinder Singh is likely to meet Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president J P Nadda and Union Home Minister Amit Shah as well as other BJP leaders on Saturday after leaving for Delhi. Captain Amarinder Singh can also address press personnel at his farmhouse before leaving for Delhi.

After this meeting, the picture of the alliance between the BJP and the Captain's party will be cleared. Captain, on the other hand, has hinted at the addition of many big faces to his party. The captain had met the home minister on September 29 after resigning as CM. After the meeting, it was believed that Captain Amarinder Singh could suppress the BJP, but later he announced his separate party. The captain had expressed his desire to form an alliance with the BJP after the formation of the party.

Sources say the agreement between Captain Amarinder Singh and the BJP has been finalised, just waiting for the right time. As three agricultural reform laws have been repealed by the central government, the alliance is likely to be announced soon. More importantly, Captain Amarinder's meeting with top BJP leaders will also take place on the same day that 32 farmers' organisations in Punjab are meeting to decide on their return home on the Delhi border.
