BHUBANESHWAR: South Central Railway (SCR) is operating a special 'Train on Demand' service to facilitate the journey of pilgrims during the Rath Yatra period. This exclusive train will run between Kacheguda and Khurda Road, providing a convenient travel option for devotees.

Train Schedule and Route: The special train, with the number 07223, will depart from Kacheguda on Saturday, June 24, at 8:30 p.m. It will arrive at Khurda Road the following day at 4:30 a.m. During its journey, the train will make a stop at Duvvada at 9:18 a.m., departing at 9:20 a.m.

In the return direction, the train with the number 07224 will depart from Khurda Road on Sunday, June 25, at 6:30 p.m. It is scheduled to reach Kacheguda the next day at 4:00 p.m. The train will also stop at Duvvada, arriving at 2:00 a.m. and departing at 2:02 a.m.
The 'Train on Demand' service will have several stoppages along its route to cater to the needs of passengers. The train will halt at the following stations: Malkajgiri, Nalgonda, Miryalaguda, Piduguralla, Guntur, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Tuni, Anakapalli, Duvvada, Simhachalam North, Kottavalasa, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam Road, and Palasa.
The special train is equipped with various classes to accommodate different travel preferences. It consists of the following compartments: 2AC-2, 3AC Economy-10, Sleeper-6, General Second Class-2, Luggage cum Brake van/Divyangjan-1, and One Motor car.

To manage the increased number of passengers, the Waltair Division of East Coast Railway has decided to attach an additional Vistadome coach to the Visakhapatnam-Kirandul-Visakhapatnam train.

Train number 08551, operating between Visakhapatnam and Kirandul, will include the extra Vistadome coach on specific dates: July 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, and 30.

For the return journey, the additional Vistadome coach will be added to train number 08552 Kirandul-Visakhapatnam on the following dates: July 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17, 19, 21, 23, 25, 27, 29, and 31.

Avail the Additional Vistadome Coach - Passengers are encouraged to take advantage of the services provided by the additional Vistadome coach. This special coach offers a unique travel experience, allowing passengers to enjoy panoramic views of the scenic route.
