Dehradun: Pushkar Singh Dhami will be crowned as the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand on Wednesday. Ahead of the swearing-in, Pushkar Singh Dhami has promised that he will fulfil all the promises that the BJP had made before the elections after assuming the chief minister's post, including the Uniform Civil Code.

Pushkar Dhami has promised that he will run a transparent government and whatever promises the BJP had made before the elections will be fulfilled. Uniform Civil Code is also one of them. Before the elections, Dhami had also mentioned the Uniform Civil Code in his rallies. He had said that he would constitute a committee comprising legal experts, senior citizens and intellectuals to prepare the law. Uniform Civil Code means uniform civil code, there will be a uniform law for every citizen living in India, irrespective of religion or caste. The Uniform Civil Code will have the same law for all communities in marriage, divorce and sharing of property.

Let us tell you that today Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also attend the swearing-in ceremony of Pushkar Singh Dhami. Along with this, many Chief Ministers of Bharatiya Janata Party ruled states will also participate in it. Pushkar Singh Dhami will take oath as the 12th CM at 2.30 pm at Parade Ground, Dehradun. In this ceremony, apart from PM Modi, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Minister Prahlad Joshi, Himachal Pradesh CM Jai Ram Thakur, Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar and many senior BJP leaders will participate.
