Allu Arjun's movie 'Pushpa' has achieved a worldwide figure of Rs 300 crore on box office. Kabir Khan's '83' is said to be a bad flop. Filmmaker Anil Thadani's company 'AA Films' has released a poster saying that 'Pushpa: The Rise,' the first movie in the series, has taken over a turnover of Rs 300 crore. It has also surpassed Akshay Kumar's 'Sooryavanshi' (Rs 290 crore) and superstar Rajinikanth's 'Annaatthe' (Rs 250 crore).

On the other hand, the budget of the 1983 Film '83' on India's Cricket World Cup victory is said to be Rs 270 crore, which is more than SS Rajamouli's 2015 movie 'Baahubali.' It is said that every former player was given Rs 3 to 7 crore for his story, which has increased the budget of the movie. The movie stars Ranveer Singh as the lead role as former captain Kapil Dev. Deepika Padukone plays his wife.

Director Kabir Khan has said on the sluggish response that the movie is getting that we are living in difficult times, it doesn't matter and the movie has made an emotional place in the public. He has said, "I know what is going on at the box office with '83.' I think it's not going to be fair to talk about it either. We had no idea that six states were going to announce night curfew after the release of the movie and theatres in Delhi, an important part of the box office, would be completely closed. '83' has so far done a net turnover of Rs 76 crore at the Indian box office.''
