The day of Diwali and Dhanteras is considered to be the best and auspicious for shopping but if the sum of Pushya Ravi Nakshatra is found then it is considered more than any auspicious date. This year Diwali is on 14 November and just 7 days before that, on 7 November 2020, there is Pushya Nakshatra which will also be on 8 November. This means that this time Saturday and Sunday will remain Pushya Nakshatra for two days. It is being told that Pushya Nakshatra is going to be there from 8 am on Saturday to 9 am on Sunday.

According to astrologers, the purchase of new goods/jewellery/machinery/bookkeeping etc. in Pushya Nakshatra, the king of constellations, is a permanent auspicious occasion. It is believed that shopping on Pushya Nakshatra gives good results and Pushya Nakshatra is also considered Karyasiddhi Yoga. According to the scriptures, the work done in this Muhurta is proved. After the coming 7th of November, Pushya Nakshatra will be on 4-5 December. Due to Diwali and Dhanteras, the importance of this auspicious time has become even more. 

It is said that Pushya Nakshatra remains on one day every month. This means Pushya Nakshatra is only 12 days in a year. You can start new work and purchase new items like vehicles etc on this day.
