MOSCOW: During a telephonic call with European Council President Charles Michel, Russian President Vladimir Putin indicated that Kiev is not exhibiting a serious attitude toward finding mutually acceptable solutions during negotiations with Moscow.
Putin gave his essential judgments of the Russian-Ukrainian negotiations to build accords, taking Russia's needs into consideration, according to the Kremlin's press service.Kremlin stated, "At the same time, it was noticed that Kiev does not exhibit a serious commitment toward finding mutually acceptable solutions."
Putin emphasised the EU's deafening silence in the aftermath of the Ukrainian military's missile attack on Donetsk's city centre.
"The President of Russia paid special attention to the fact that, while publicly assessing what was happening, the European Union leadership ignored yesterday's criminal and inhuman action by the Ukrainian military - a missile attack on a residential area in Donetsk's centre using cluster munitions," the Kremlin said.
Putin explained the rationale and goals of the Russian military's special operation to safeguard Donbass to Bahrain's King, Sheikh Hamad bin Ise al-Khalifa, over the phone.
