New Delhi: Congress shared a video mocking PM Narendra Modi after China blocked India’s bid in the UN Security Council to designate Jaish-e-Mohammed chief Masood Azhar as a "global terrorist". The video went viral on the internet. However, for film actor R Madhavan the video was in “bad taste” and he slammed the congress for demeaning India in front of China.
This is in such bad taste. What ever the political rivalry -Shri Modi Ji is the Prime Minister of this country and you are demeaning this nation in front of China in this video with such crass attempt at humor.NOT expected from this Twitter handle. The actors' tweet went viral on social media and got over 25K likes and 12K shares.
China for the fourth time blocked the bid by putting a technical hold on the proposal a move which India termed "disappointing". Congress communication department member Rachit Seth defended the tweet saying no PM from Pandit Nehru to Indira Gandhi to Vajpayee or Manmohan Singh has been immune to criticism on any issue in this country.
Meanwhile, China has said that it is willing to have more discussions with all parties concerned including India on blacklisting the Masood Azhar who claimed the responsibility for the attack on an Indian paramilitary convoy in disputed Kashmir in February.
