Jaipur: Kailash Meghwal, the speaker of Rajasthan Assembly, today emphasized the significance of journalism in strengthening the democratic values and called upon the media to play its positive role in the society.

The words by speaker, "Journalism has a distinguished place and a responsibility in the democracy. The journalist play important role in taking the discussions and deliberations, which take place in parliamentary democracy across the world,"

He further said, ‘there is a need of grave thinking and brainstorming in setting new scopes in the journalism”

Also, the workshop addressed by Rajendra Rathore(the Parliamentary Affairs Minister) and Congress MLA Pradyuman Singh. .
