Rabindranath Tagore, born in Calcutta on May 7, 1861, as the youngest son of Sharda Devi. Guru Rabindranath Tagore's personality was so multifaceted that it was very difficult to subdue in words. He was not only literary, painter and philosopher, but he also had a lot of love for music. the

He had such wonderful talents that can be inspired by his whole life. He is the only Indian literary who got the Nobel Prize for Gitanjali in the literature. He is a poet whose compositions are national anthem of two countries - India's national anthem 'Jana Gana Mana' and the National Anthem of Bangladesh 'Amar Sonar Bangla'. Today is the virtue of this great celebration Remembrance Day.

It is noteworthy that Gurudev's early education took place in St. Xavier School of Calcutta. His father wanted him to become a barrister. He was also sent to London for this but returned without a degree because destiny had something else decided for him. Actually, he had infinite qualities, he was a poet, writer, painter and social worker. 

Nationalist Tagore was a vocal opponent of the British. The unique achievement of Gurudev's life was the establishment of Shantiniketan which was completed in 1901. Built in a natural environment, Shanti Niketan got the status of World University by the efforts of Tagoreji.

Guru Rabindranath Tagore was given many honors in his lifetime but the special point was that Gitanjali was awarded the Nobel Prize in 1913. This legendary poet of the country has given something which evokes patriotism in the hearts of the people of the country, that is the 'Gana Gana Mana', which is a sign of his immortality. 

In the same way, the country's national anthem 'Amar Sonar Bangla' is also keeping his memories alive. Guru Dev lit the entire world with his personality in the light of which were precious stones in the country so nature lovers eventually become absorbed in nature has left this mortal body in Calcutta on August 7, 1941.
