These days the artists of the popular TV show Radhakrishna of small screen are very happy. Yes, the show's actors have reached Kanpur to enjoy this year's Janmashtami among the Krishna bhaktas. All the artists of the show visited the ISKCON temple at Bithoor near Kanpur and all celebrated Janmashtami with pomp. Serial chief artists Sumedh Mudgalkar and Mallika Singh also dressed up like Krishna and Radha.

"This day is very important for me," says Sumedh Mudgalkar, who arrived at the ISKCON temple in Kanpur to celebrate Krishna's birthday. I never thought I would play Krishna myself. I watched all the Gopala people bursting matki on the occasion of Krishna Janmashtami from my childhood and today I had the opportunity to become Krishna myself and burst the matki. I live Krishna's life through this show and I am following his ideology."

Mallika Singh, who plays Radha in the show, Radhakrishna, said, "I am very happy to meet the people of Kanpur. The people here were very accommodating. I have been very keen to see the celebration of Krishna Janmashtami bursting handi and I saw it with my own eyes today. The scene was very adorable. Playing Radha on the show, I have become a devotee of Lord Krishna and consider myself very fortunate to have had the opportunity to play such an important role.
