World number two player Nadal defeated Medvedev 7-5, 6-3, 5-7, 4-6, 6-4 in a match lasting nearly 5 hours and clinched his 19th Grand Slam title. Rafael Nadal has captured the US Open for the fourth time (2010, 2013, 2017, 2019). Earlier, he won the title at the US Open in 2017.
