Rafale deal Row: 3 Petitioners inclding Prashant Bhushan, Arun Shourie move Supreme Court seeking review of Rafale ruling

New Delhi: In a wake of to seek a review of the December 14 ruling  of Top court on Rafale deal advocate Prashant Bhushan along with former union ministers Arun Shourie and Yashwant Sinha have approached the Supreme Court.  Reportd suggested tha Bhushan along with his two fellow petitioners, Shourie and Sinha, urged the apex court to hold an oral hearing for the review plea.

The petition has been filed by the three petitioners. It states that the ruling is full of errors and relies on the deliberately incorrect claims made in an unsigned note given in a sealed envelope by the Government. It also asserted that it is a violation of fairness.

According to this new petition, new information has surfaced in the issue, which is why the Top court needs to review their verdict.

"The judgement of the Supreme Court dismissing our petition seeking an independent court-monitored investigation into the Rafale deal is as shocking as it is disappointing. We had gone to court after making a detailed complaint to the CBI,"  All of three was quoted  as saying  by news agency ANI about the Supreme Court judgment on the 36-aircraft Rafale deal.
