New Delhi: The corona havoc in the country is slowly receding but in the meantime black fungus is adding to the woes. At present, more than 9,000 cases of black fungus have been reported from different states of the country. More than 200 people have lost their lives so far. Moreover, many states have declared the fungus as an epidemic. Not only that, the demand for amphotaricin-B, an anti-fungal drug used to treat the disease, is also increasing.

Aam Aadmi Party MLA Raghav Chadha has reported acute shortage of the drug in Delhi. At the same time, he has attacked the Central Government over the Corona vaccine. Let us tell all of you that vaccination has been stopped for people above 18 years of age in Delhi since last Saturday. Cm Kejriwal has pointed out the shortage of vaccine behind the decision. Now, amidst all this, AAP leader Raghav Chadha accused the Central government of "the Government of India has no policy on vaccines. The Central Government is controlling the production and distribution of vaccine. He has stopped the quota of Delhi. This has led to the loss of vaccine in Delhi today".

At the same time, he said about the injection of black fungus, "There is a huge shortage of injections in black fungus medicine as well as hospitals in Delhi across the country. We request the Central Government to increase its production. Stock should be made available to Delhi at the earliest so that lives of people can be saved".
