Udaipur: Two days before the wedding of Raghav Chadha and Parineeti Chopra in Udaipur, Rajasthan on September 22, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP enlisted the help of the Punjab police to ensure security for the event. Despite Punjab being under AAP-led governance, a team of Punjab police officers traveled a considerable distance of 860 kilometers to Udaipur to oversee the wedding's security.

On September 22, Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha were seen at the Delhi airport as they prepared to depart for their destination wedding at the renowned Hotel Leela Palace in Udaipur. To ensure the safety of the wedding, approximately 100 private security guards were hired. These guards were strategically positioned on boats in the middle of Lake Pichola, and a special security perimeter was established at the Hotel Leela Palace's jetty. The security arrangements for the hotel underwent a significant overhaul in preparation for the wedding. Approximately 15 checkpoints were established by the police in Udaipur to manage the flow of guests from the airport to the hotel. To safeguard the privacy of the wedding ceremony, guests entering the hotel had blue tape applied to their mobile phone cameras.
The wedding guest list includes several high-profile figures such as Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, designer Manish Malhotra, tennis player Sania Mirza, director Karan Johar, and the bride's cousin sister, Priyanka Chopra.
