Raghavendra, Puneeth Rajkumar's older brother, gave a heartfelt homage to the late actor. The actor, often known as Appu, was very close to his older siblings, Raghavendra Rajkumar and Shivarajkumar. Now, Raghavendra has a tattoo in honor of Puneeth as a reminder of his affection for his deceased brother.

Puneeth passed away in October 2021 as a result of a severe heart arrest. Shivrajkumar and Raghavendra, his brothers, were very dear to him. An image of Raghavendra with the names of Puneeth, formerly known as Appu, and his daughters Toto and Nukki tattooed on his chest has appeared on social media. Vanditha and Drithi, two of Puneeth's daughters, go by the nicknames Toto and Nukki.

Both  producer and a performer, Raghavendra. He has appeared in over half a dozen movies, and his most recent appearance was in James, a postmortem film by Puneeth.

His final movie was Gandhada Gudi. The movie, which was directed by Amoghavarsha J. S., is a documentary about Karnataka's wildlife. Puneeth and the director travel the length and breadth of the state in the movie to explore its rich biodiversity. The movie was quite well received by the public when it was first released in theaters in October. On the day of the release, some fans became teary-eyed at the first performance.

With the Kannada film Appu, released in 2002, Puneeth made his acting debut. Abhi, Veera Kannadiga, Arasu, Raam, Hudugaru, and Anjani Putra are just a few of his well-known movies. Puneet passed away on October 29, 2021, at the age of 46.

On Tuesday, the 67th Kannada Rajyotsava (the day the state was founded), Puneeth was posthumously given the Karnataka Ratna, the highest civilian honor in the state. The event was presided over by actors Jr. NTR and Rajinikanth, as well as former Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai.
