Bhopal: The grand old Congress party national President Rahul Gandhi is going to launch the party's campaign in poll-bound Madhya Pradesh on Monday. Reportedly He is all set to hold a 15-kilometre-long roadshow.

A number of posters presenting him as 'Shiva bhakt' means the devotee of Lord Shiva, after his current visit to Kailash Mansarovar, are hurled across Bhopal where the Congress public meeting will be held.

Ahead of his day-long visit, Congress scion will also address party workers. Over one lakh party members are likely to be present at the event.

Congress has aim to cash in the incumbency wave in the Shivraj -state, which is a long-established BJP stronghold.

Rahul will land by aircraft at around noon and embark on the roadshow from Lalghati Chowk. This place is located close to the airport. He is slated to seeking the blessings of more than 11 Hindu priests.

The roadshow will conclude at Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd's Dussehra Maidan. Rahul will ride an open vehicle. He will interact with party cadres after this.

Security has been beefed up across the capital city Bhopal in view of Gandhi scion visit, Bhopal Inspector General (IG) of Police Jaideep Prasad stated.

Meanwhile Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister and BJP leader Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Sunday alleged that the Rahul Gandhi has no idea how chillies grew in a field is showing concern about farmers and farming.

He added that pointing Rahul that Congress government gave loans to farmers at a high rate of 18 per cent (in Madhya Pradesh) but the current government is disbursing loans to farmers at zero per cent n MP .
