A 21-day lockdown has been done to prevent the coronavirus in India. All states are following this lockdown seriously. Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi has emphasized that the country needs a special strategy to combat the Kovid-19 which has been declared an epidemic and the number of cases of which the disease continues to grow. Rahul Gandhi tweeted, 'In the Congress CWC meeting today I formulated a special strategy to deal with the COVID 19 epidemic and for Congress workers and leaders in every possible way by helping the poorest and most vulnerable sections of our society.

Speaking on the matter, Rahul Gandhi said in the CWC meeting that, COVID-19 specifically attacks older persons, people with lung disease, diabetes patients, persons with heart disease, making them the most vulnerable. All state governments need to issue special advice for these categories and take care.

Rahul Gandhi also talked on how to put a lockdown. He said that no country in the world has taken a lockdown without taking care of food, ration and other needs of migrant workers. The former Congress President first informed the government on the Coronavirus on February 12 and requested to take strict steps. In his letter to the Prime Minister, it was said that he supports the 21-day lockdown by the government. The government was also suggested to do more for the poor and daily villagers.
