Based on the statement of former Governor of Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Urjit Patel, Rahul Gandhi said: "PM Modi has deliberately saved the people who do not repay the loan."
A book by Urjit Patel has recently appeared in the market. On this, Rahul Gandhi has now targeted the central government. Rahul Gandhi has written that Urjit Patel was engaged in cleaning the banking system, but because of that, his job was lost. Why, because PM Modi did not want to take action against those who did not repay the loan.
Urjit Patel resigned from the post of Governor of the Reserve Bank in 2018 after a dispute with the Central Government. On which there was a lot of uproar. The book claimed that the circular issued by the RBI regarding the defaulter was asked to be withdrawn by the government.
