In a recent resigning phase of Politicians, Social media takes a jibe, Not a Modi wave, what went down on May 23, 2019, was nothing short of a Tsunami, according to people. BJP won 303 seats in the Lok Sabha elections 2019. It is to be noted that two days after the election results, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee offered to resign at a meeting with party colleagues. However, it is worth mention here that  the party rejected it. She also alleged EVMs were “programmed and rigged”. Also, rumours of Rahul Gandhi wanting to resign as Indian National Congress’ chief were also doing the rounds. However, it is said, his resignation was rejected by Sonia Gandhi.

It is to be noted that joining the bandwagon was Anurag Kashyap, who taking a sly dig at the resignation chaos, tweeted, “Mamta didi wanted to resign but party rejected offer. to be noted that Rahul Gandhi wanted to resign but party rejected the offer. it is to be noted that we wanted to act dumb and believe it but our intelligence rejected it.. P.S. I didn’t want to tweet this but twiterrati rejected my intention.”
