Jaipur: Congress veteran Shamsher Surjewala died on Monday after a long illness. Party sources have said that Shamsher Singh, father of Congress chief spokesperson Randeep Surjewala, breathed his last at the AIIMS hospital in Delhi at the age of 87. Expressing grief over his demise, former Congress National President Rahul Gandhi reached AIIMS and met Randeep Surjewala.
