New Delhi: In the National Herald case, former Congress President Rahul Gandhi was summoned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Monday for questioning and interrogated for about 8 and a half hours. This case was initially registered by BJP's Rajya Sabha MP Subramanian Swamy. At the same time, Swamy now hopes that the Gandhi family will be proved guilty in this case and said that the only option left for Rahul Gandhi is to leave the country.

Talking to the media, Swami said, 'He will face the cases later, let him go first. He (Rahul Gandhi) has taken a UK passport and I have given all the proofs of that. When Rajnath Singh was the Home Minister, he had also sent a notice, but Rahul Gandhi did not respond to that notice. Now I don't know what has happened to Amit Shah and he does not even raise this issue. I have told him about 10 times. The BJP leader further said that, 'According to the Constitution of India, a person can only have a passport of India and if he holds a passport of another country, then his citizenship of India will be terminated. I don't know what game is happening. I have done what I had to do. Right now my trial is going on and when ED finishes the investigation, I will run that case also.

The BJP leader further said that Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi are on bail since 2014. He said, 'The fact is athat these people are standing just a few days away from going to jail. In this case sections of theft dacoity are involved. I have never talked about pros and cons. They broke the law and grabbed such a big company, in which they hold 99 percent of the shares. Let us inform that on Monday, Congress workers protested in many cities of the country, big Congress leaders in Delhi protested fiercely and in view of this, a large number of security forces were deployed in the capital.
