NEW DELHI: Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Saturday kicked off his three-day Gujarat visit with an offering prayer to the Somnath Temple.

 

For the duration of his visit, Rahul Gandhi will seize talks with all newly-elected MLAs, leaders and party workers from corner to corner of the state to analysis the defeat in  Gujarat Assembly polls outcomes.

This is Rahul's first tour to Gujarat after the assembly polls results were declared in the state on Monday. Congress along with its associates won 80 seats and restricted BJP on 99 in a state that it considers its stronghold.

Since There will be a Congress party workers' assemble at Gujarat University Convention Hall at GNBC ground in Ahmedabad so Rahul Gandhi is expected to announce the name of the opposition leader in Gujarat.

Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Friday chaired a Congress Working Committee assembly, which will be his first after taking over as party chief. With the Congress' state of mind greatly hold up by the good performance in the Gujarat polls and the 2G case judgment, Gandhi’s scion said the people are raising questions  at PM Narendra Modi and his comments in opposition to Manmohan Singh, and lauded that there was an "affirmative outlook" towards the Congress party in the nation.
