Karnataka: The second leg of Congress President Rahul Gandhi's 7th phase of Jana Aashirwada Yatre started with releasing the Nava Karnataka Manifesto.

Congress President Rahul Gandhi launched the Nava Karnataka Manifesto in Mangaluru in the presence of CM Siddaramaiah, Dr Parameshwara and other senior leaders.

In his address, Congress Scion said, "BJP manifesto is decided by 3-4 leaders. It will be the manifesto of the RSS. I am here to listen to the people of Karnataka. That is the difference between Congress and our Karnataka."

Rahul Gandhi lashed out BJP and said, "Our opponents do not respect the culture of Karnataka.PM Narendra Modi of the BJP does not stand up to what he says.”

Rahul Gandhi assured voters of Karnataka that whatever the manifesto says will be done, adding that “95% of what was mentioned in the last manifesto has been done.”

He further said that Congress leaders have gone to the people of Karnataka and listened to what they want. He took on PM Modi monthly radio program and said, “Our manifesto is 'Mann ki Baat' of people of Karnataka”.

Karnataka will go to polls on May 12 to elect its representatives for the 225-member assembly while the results will be out on May 15.
