Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said that India's history shows that 'satyagraha' ends atrocities, injustice, and arrogance on Friday. From the start of farmers' agitation, Rahul Gandhi has supported the farmers against the agri law issued by the government.

The Congress leader is seen expressing his support for the 'Bharat Bandh' called by farmer unions protesting the three agri laws today. A complete Bharat Bandh is called out in the nation by farmer unions a complete from 6 am to 6 pm. Today, the farmers mark four months of the farmer agitation on Delhi's three borders Singhu, Ghazipur, and Tikri. Recently, Gandhi tweet on his official Twitter account writing 'India's history shows that 'satyagraha' ends atrocities, injustice, and arrogance.' The former Congress chief also added 'movement should be in national interest and peaceful.' Since last November hundreds of farmers have been camping at Delhi's border points demanding the Centre to repeal the three contentious farm laws. Passed in September last year the laws are projected as major reforms in the agriculture sector. The issued law by central is to omit middlemen and allow farmers to sell theirs produces anywhere in the country.

According to the reports, the new agri laws would pave the way for eliminating the Minimum Support Price and do away with the "mandi" system, leaving them at the mercy of big corporates.
