Congress leader Rahul Gandhi tweeted and shared the views of former PM Nehru, Rahul wrote, 'Evil is uncontrolled, if you tolerate it, it poisons the entire system'. The Lok Sabha MP from Wayanad in Kerala further wrote that it is a day to remember Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru's statement on his death anniversary. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal also remembered Jawaharlal Nehru, who tweeted that he saluted The First Prime Minister of India Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru ji on his death anniversary.
Tell us that Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru azad was the first PM of India to command the country for nearly 17 years. On August 15, 1947, when the country became independent and when Jawaharlal Nehru breathed his last, he was the PM of the country. Nehru still holds the record for the longest stay prime minister.
