Lucknow: Congress Party's National General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has targeted the Modi government of the Center by tweeting on the latest developments in the country regarding the farmer movement. Priyanka Gandhi has said in her tweet that farmers are being threatened on Ghazipur and Singhu border. Those who want to break the farmers' movement are traitors.

Priyanka wrote in her tweet, 'At midnight yesterday, they tried to end the peasant movement with sticks. Today, farmers are being threatened on Ghazipur, Singhu border. This is contrary to every rule of democracy. Priyanka Gandhi further wrote that Congress will stand in this struggle with the farmers. Farmers are the interest of the country. Those who want to break them - they are traitors. He wrote that strict action should be taken against violent elements, but with the farmers who have been struggling peacefully for months, the entire power of the people of the country stands with them.

Along with Priyanka Gandhi, her brother and former Congress President Rahul Gandhi has also tweeted on the issue of farmers. He wrote, 'It is time to choose a side. My decision is clear. I am with democracy, I am with farmers and their peaceful movement.' Rakesh Tikait, the farmer leader who came on the radar of the administration, got the support of RLD. RLD leader Ajit Singh has discussed with Rakesh Tikait and said don't worry, everyone is with you.
