Chandigarh: Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi is on a tour of Bharat Jodo these days. During this, he gave a strange statement saying that I have 'killed Rahul Gandhi' and I do not care about my image anymore. At the same time, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi insisted that the 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' is not related to him.

Speaking to reporters in Haryana on Sunday (January 8), Rahul Gandhi said, 'Rahul Gandhi is in your mind. I have killed him. He's not there, he's not on my mind at all. He is gone.' In fact, a journalist had asked Rahul Gandhi how his image has changed due to the Bharat Jodo Yatra. Many people did not understand the answer given by Rahul Gandhi on this. He said, "The person you are seeing is not Rahul Gandhi. You can see him. You don't understand him, read Hindu texts, read Shiva-ji (Lord Shiva), and you will understand. Don't be surprised. Rahul Gandhi is in your mind, not mine. He is in the BJP's mind, not mine.''

Earlier, in a statement, Rahul Gandhi had said that India is a country of ascetics, not priests. The priest's organization had also expressed displeasure towards Rahul. Actually, both penance and worship are different karmas of Sanatan Dharma and the ways of doing both are also different. Penance is done by most sanyasi people, while anyone can worship. In such a situation, Rahul's statement was described by the priests as an insult to the Hindu religion.
