New Delhi: Former Congress national president Rahul Gandhi on Friday again attacked the government over central agricultural laws and said his party will not back down until the three laws are repealed. Rahul Gandhi, who was involved in a Congress protest near the lieutenant governor's residence, said that a few years ago, the Central government had tried to snatch farmers' land through the Land Acquisition Bill. Congress had prevented him. The BJP is once again attacking the farmers.

Rahul Gandhi alleged that these three laws are not to help farmers but to eliminate them. The government wants to benefit some industrialists. Rahul Gandhi further said that Congress is standing with farmers. The government will have to withdraw these three laws. Congress is not going to retreat until the government withdraws the law.

Earlier, Rahul Gandhi had tweeted from his official Twitter handle that he said, "The country's farmers are doing satyagraha against the arrogant Modi government for their right. Today, the whole of India is raising its voice against atrocities on farmers and rising petrol and diesel prices. You also join and be a part of this Satyagraha.''
