New Delhi: Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi has once again attacked the Modi government. He has targeted the Centre by raising the issue of paying homage to those who lost their lives in the farmers' movement. In a tweet, Rahul Gandhi said, "The BJP does not accept my two-minute silence."

In a tweet, Congress MP from Wayanad Lok Sabha constituency in Kerala, Rahul Gandhi wrote, "My 2-minute silence for the martyred donors is not acceptable to the BJP. I will pay homage to the sacrifices of my farmer and labor brothers again and again. I am not afraid of those who are afraid of my silence." It may be noted that earlier, Bharatiya Kisan Union (Bhakiu) leader Naresh Tikait had criticized the agricultural laws and said on Wednesday that the government and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) are not trustworthy.

This was stated by Tikait at a monthly meeting of the Farmers Union in Ghaziabad on the Delhi-Uttar Pradesh border. According to a release issued by Bhakiu's national media in-charge Dharmendra Malik, Rakesh Tikait said, "This movement will last for a long time, make it a part of your routine," Tikait said, "More people like Satyapal Malik (Governor of Meghalaya) will come forward. Farmers respect their truth. Bjp MPs are now feeling suffocated," says Satyapal Malik, who made a statement in favor of the Farmers' Agitation on Sunday.
