New Delhi: Former Congress national president Rahul Gandhi on Thursday accused the ongoing tussle in the House over the issue of suspension of 12 members of the Rajya Sabha, saying that the central government is afraid of questions. Let us tell you that there is a ruckus inside the Parliament for the last four days regarding the suspension of 12 MPs. Several opposition parties, including Congress, Trinamool Congress (TMC), protested in front of Mahatma Gandhi's statue in Parliament premises on Thursday and raised slogans demanding withdrawal of suspension of MPs.

Rahul Gandhi tweeted on the issue, "Fear of questions, fear of truth, fear of courage. The government that is afraid do injustice.' On the first day of the winter session of Parliament, 12 members of opposition parties, including the Congress and Trinamool Congress, were suspended from the Rajya Sabha for the rest of the session for creating ruckus in the House.

Apart from Rahul Gandhi, leader of opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge, Lok Sabha MP Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary, Trinamool Congress, Samajwadi Party, DMK, Rankpa, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and other party MPs were also present in the protest against it in the Parliament premises. Opposition parties raised slogans like "Withdraw suspension of MPs."
