New Delhi: Former Congress national president Rahul Gandhi is constantly targeting the Central government over the issue of farmers. He has now attacked the government on the farmers' income on Friday. He claimed that the farmers of the country want income at par with the farmers of Punjab, but the central government wants to make their income equal to the farmers of Bihar.

Rahul Gandhi, while sharing a graph on average income per farmer in various states, wrote on his official Twitter handle that "the farmer wants his income to be as much as the farmers of Punjab. The Modi government wants the income of all the farmers of the country to be as much as the farmers of Bihar." According to the graph that Rahul Gandhi has shared, the average income per farmer in Punjab is Rs. 2, 16, 708 (annual) which is the highest in the country. The graph also shows that the average income per farmer in Bihar is Rs. 42,684 (annually) which is much lower than many states in the country.

For further knowledge, Rahul Gandhi from the Wayanad Lok Sabha constituency of Kerala is an aggressor on the central government over the agricultural law from the beginning. They are demanding the government to withdraw the three agricultural laws and support the farmers' agitation.
